In cold storage and clean room applications, the insulation value (R-value) of the sandwich panel is critical. A standard screw acts as a thermal bridge, conducting heat from the exterior to the interior through the metal core of the screw. Furthermore, over-tightening a standard screw compresses the foam or rock wool core, destroying its insulating properties at the connection point.

The "High-Low" Thread Solution
Our Sandwich Panel screws feature a High-Low (Twin) Thread design.
High Thread: Grips the outer metal skin firmly.
Low Thread: Does not engage the insulation core, preventing compression.
This design ensures that the panel retains its full thickness and insulation value at the joint.
