Heavy-Duty DIN 580 Forged Lifting Eye Bolts: Engineering-Grade Rigging Solutions
Maximum Safety for Industrial Lifting, Mold Handling, and Motor Mounting
In the world of heavy-duty rigging, the difference between a successful lift and a catastrophic failure lies in the grain structure of your hardware. Our DIN 580 Eye Bolts are not standard cast fasteners. They are precision drop-forged from high-grade C15E Carbon Steel or AISI 316 Stainless Steel, ensuring a continuous metal flow that handles cyclic loading and multi-axial stress without the risk of brittle fracture common in low-quality alternatives.
Addressing the Real-World Pain Points of Rigging
We understand that for engineers and site managers, procurement isn't just about price-it's about risk mitigation. Our manufacturing process specifically targets the failures commonly found in cheaper hardware:
Eliminating Brittle Failure: By utilizing controlled heat treatment after forging, we ensure our carbon steel eye bolts retain ductility even in low-temperature environments, preventing sudden snaps under impact loads.
Precision Thread Tolerance: Each bolt features a 6g metric thread, machined for a snug fit that maximizes shear strength and prevents "play" within the tapped hole, which is the leading cause of thread stripping during side-pulls.
Controlled Galvanizing: To prevent hydrogen embrittlement, our zinc-plating and galvanizing processes are strictly monitored. Our Stainless Steel A4 (316) versions are passivated and electropolished for superior resistance in offshore or chemical processing plants.
On-Site Audit Readiness: Every single piece is stamped with the manufacturer's mark, thread size, material grade, and a permanent CE mark. We provide full 3.1 Material Certificates to streamline your safety compliance audits.

Technical Specifications & Working Load Limits (WLL)
Safety depends on choosing the right size for the right angle. Use the table below to determine the correct Working Load Limit for your specific application according to DIN 580:2010 standards.
| Thread Size (d1) | Vertical WLL (kg) | 45° Side Pull WLL (kg) | Eye ID (d2) mm | Material Availability |
| M8 | 140 | 100 | 20 | C15E / SS316 |
| M10 | 230 | 170 | 25 | C15E / SS316 |
| M12 | 340 | 240 | 30 | C15E / SS316 |
| M16 | 700 | 500 | 35 | C15E / SS316 |
| M20 | 1200 | 860 | 40 | C15E / SS316 |
| M24 | 1800 | 1290 | 50 | C15E / SS316 |
| M30 | 3200 | 2300 | 60 | C15E / SS316 |
| M36 | 4600 | 3300 | 70 | C15E / SS316 |
Critical Installation Guidelines for Safety
Flush Seating: The shoulder of the eye bolt must be fully seated against the load surface. There should be no visible gap. If the thread bottomed out before seating, use spacer washers or deeper tapped holes.
Alignment for Side Pulls: For multi-leg slings, the plane of the eye must be aligned with the direction of pull. Never apply a load perpendicular to the plane of the ring.
One-Time Use on Machinery: While highly durable, eye bolts used on vibrating machinery should be inspected for stress fatigue and replaced if any thread deformation or elongation of the ring is detected.
